Is it normal to be restrictive?

I'm an 18 year old virgin female. I don't masturbate, watch porn or do anything to incite the thought of sex. I actively avoid men and try not to encourage sexual frustration. But no matter what I do, I can't stop constantly thinking and fantasising about it. It feels like it's driving me crazy, and I've kept myself away from it throughout my entire life for the sake of schooling. I find myself having wet dreams and picturing sex with friends I find attractive. Restraining yourself for the sake of your well-being is normal, right?

What makes you think that restraining yourself is best for your well-being? It is going against your nature, obviously.
Give yourself a break and enjoy your youth before it's gone.

U need 2 "go off the deep-end" with full sex with an older couple where the woman is bisexual & will gladly lick your clitoris as her partner fucks you, at her instruction!!

Self control is a very admirable trait, and I'm sure you will avoid many common difficulties in life by being so restrained. On the other hand masturbation is perfectly normal and healthy to do and it would probably take the edge off so that you can focus more on the rest of your life instead of feeling frustrated and unfulfilled. I've had many times when I was so horny it would wake me up at night, disturbing my sleep. I needed my sleep to be able to work the next day, so I would get up and masturbate and then go back to bed and sleep like a baby.

Sexual thoughts can be distracting but if you give yourself some pleasure then you won't be so obsessed thinking about sex, and this could help you better concentrate on school and work.

This makes no sense what so ever
1 it has been proven that masturbating is good for your health
2 if you masturbate it gets rid of sexual frustration and therefore you wont be distracted you wont have to avoid a whole gender

Definitely take no steps towards Having sex or masturbating whatsoever ienstien never got anywhere by spilling his seed in fact he only lost his virginity well after his thoughts on reletivity and even then he only had a quick wank just to cheer us all up. By the way if you don't play with your dick it will end up incredibly small. Good luck

Whether it's school or religious reasons or something else, I would say that it's at least somewhat normal wait to have sex for a while. However, as far as masturbating goes, if you have a sex drive, I think the "normal" thing to do would be to masturbate. There is a good chance that you are more distracted right now from sexual thoughts and fantasies than you would be if you just let yourself masturbate.
Masturbating is natural and healthy. Having a sex drive is part of being human.

People ln this website are miserable shit-bags when it comes to certain areas of advice and misery loves company.

I believe saving you virginity and not masturbating/resisting the urge to is a healthy concept and wish you the best of luck in finding that lucky man when the time is right.

restricting yourself would seem to be more distractive in this case since you say you want it and it's driving you bat shit crazy.

In our society, there's a tendency to put a lot of stress on people to be successful and be part of the "system." There's all this pressure, but what about being happy? Are you fulfilled? Being successful can be part of being happy, but overall I've found happiness is more important than success. Despite what you may believe, restricting yourself is actually doing you more harm than good.

I don't think masturbation would distract you too much. And be aware of setting limits. You're only getting out of highschool right?

If you keep this up you might never see a dudes penis till...ever.
