Is it normal to be put off.

Is it normal to be put off a reconciled lover that has picked up interests similar to their ex such as playing guitar, reading books, movies, games, etc.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I’ve had that happen to me before. I suppose it depends on the intensity of it, but unless it’s an actual trigger you shouldn’t dismiss it just bc it reminds you of someone else.

Reading books is normal! Everyone should read books, and you should read books!

      Hold on, they "should"?

Well, I see what you're saying in that it's not my place to tell people what to do, but reading books is pretty basic stuff. Reading books is normal of course, and if anything not reading, or going out of one's way to not read after one has finished education is rather abnormal.

I know it's normal, genius. I never said it wasn't. And no, it is not "abnormal".

I don't think it's especially normal to not enjoy or want to read unless the person has a learning disability that prevents them from reading.

It is normal to not want to read. Some people just find little to no interest in books. Some people just don't like reading.
