But people are fundamentally different to tomatoes. People are affected by what other people call them, have identity crises, get born in the wrong body. Tomatoes have no concept of "self".
People should be respectful of what other people identify as and call them how they wish to be called. In direct reference to BlueJeans' comment, he might be a woman biologically but a man mentally. His sex might be female but his gender might be male, and I think people should be called by their gender if that's what they wish.
Men CAN be pregnant. Male seahorses, for example, become pregnant. Sex/gender is not defined by which one gets pregnant. The definition is much more specific.
He is a biological woman but a man mentally, and that's what's important, I think.
He's called a man out of respect and out of acknowledgement that he quacks like one. He deserves to be called so for the way he handles predominantly male situations.
Transgender isn't about our feelings, it's about theirs; they deserve to feel comfortable in their own skin like everyone else and it would help them if we referred to them as they wish.
Then why is 'he' continuously playing on the 'pregnant man' thing?
If HIS feelings are that HE is a man, then why is HE pregnant, continuously getting pregnant, continuously injecting 'himself' into the news as a 'pregnant man'? Why is 'he' retaining 'his' female reproductive organs if 'he' wants to be perceived as a 'man'? The LEAST manly thing on this planet Earth that a person can do is be pregnant. If you want to be a man and be seen as a man, why be a 'pregnant man'??
Because he wants to be perceived as a man, yet his feelings for the his wife are stronger. He wants to be a man, she wants babies, he wants her happiness, he'll go through the scrutiny of having it both ways.
That's not the strongest point I was making, however. The point I wanted to very much express was for transgender in general. They deserve some dignity.
Is it normal to be pissed about this pregnant man?

You're placing importance on the law calling him a male. The tomato example is perfect because:
Why did the law call a tomato a veggie?
Let's also ask:
Why does the law call a person a male?
Neither one is for 'feelings'.
The law will call this person a male for a couple reasons, none of which are to make this person feel better about himself nor will change his DNA.
Here are the reasons:
1) gender determines who you can marry
2) how to handle a person if imprisoned
3) military service
Male humans cannot be pregnant. I've never heard anyone call a male seahorse a 'man'.

I'm not placing strong importance on it, but it is a reason. Albeit a secondary one.
Reasons for the law are unimportant.
Male biological humans cannot become pregnant. People who identify as having male gender can become pregnant if they are biologically female.

It's hardly a secondary reason, even.
