  • Please DO NOT respect special ed teachers. The special needs ones are the ones who need respect. Ive been with a special ed teacher since i was in kindergarten and after a long fight about it i only managed to get out in late elementary. So i dont have to deal with them anymore. Special ed teachers (atleast the ones i had) are complete scum, they tread you like a toddler, trying to teach you simple math and how to make friends and all that bullshit. Its like preschool all over again, no matter how old you are. And dont even think about doing anything they dont allow you to, not even protesting. Because they can be really strict, and will make you cry just because you try to stand up for yourself. They dont help you keep up on all the stuff that your classmates are learning, They keep you locked in preschool grade difficulty (which is easy stuff).

    • I know what you mean. I was fortunate enough to have good ones at first, but one time when I was an adult, I went to this shitty backwater town and the "teachers" treated us like shit. They didn't even teach us jack shit. Was surprised how it was even considered a damn class.

Literally had the dumbest curriculum even a 4 year old would go crazy having to deal with. Shitty books like See Jane Run. Math involving simple integers, a test that even asked me a dumb question about family relationships.

If Paul holds Cara's hand, who is Cara to Paul?
      a. his brother 2. a stranger c. his girlfriend

Make cookies and clean up time like we're in a fucking Barney movie.

The students were a bunch of socially retarded men who acted like children with their huge ADHD episodes.
It was a fucking nightmare. I hated my life there and it gave me the worst fucking self esteem ever.

The bitch that got me into the program had the nerve to expect me to be grateful over it. Give me a break.

I finally got away from that hell hole and went to a college where I went to receive my highschool diploma and got impeccable grades. I realized I wasn't dumb after all. And the school just conditioned me to think so.

I got 100 percents on literally everything, even papers up to 75 points and only got a 90 something one thing.... This was after several years of being a drop out at 15. [Started these classes 21.] So yeah, the school I was at before did nothing more than waste my time. I guess whoever got me referred to it thought that having an IEP was equivalent to being mentally retarded. I only got put in special classes because I was really disorganized as a child.

      • I see where youre coming from, they need to be sued for this awful treatment. Just because someone is born with a disorder doesnt mean you throw him into the worst class imaginable, fucking cunts.
