You can't control other people, even your girlfriend, so don't worry about it. If you felt confident in your relationship with her, you wouldn't be worried.

Seriously though, don't worry too much about it. If you guys have been going out for quite some time it's normal to have that distance between each other. If you guys have just started going out then maybe that's just the type of person she is? I mean, for me I don't text my significant other at all and we're in a long distance relationship. I always wait for her to text me, not because I don't like her. Not because I don't care. But because I don't want to seem clingy.
