Is it normal to be paralized for 2 days after a gallbladder surgery?

I had a routine Gall Bladder removal surgery on the 15th of June 2011. After I got home and laid down, I was then unable to move my arms, legs, and lift my head. I had to lay on the bed for 48 hours. My husband had to lift me and get me on my feet, then I could walk but very difficut to do. Then he would lay me back down and I could not move again. This lasted for almost three days.Is this normal?

  • Not normal...Doctors can never be trusted. they probably have planted some sort of mind control chip in your spine...

    • That's highly unintelligent, doctors should always be trusted, and if you cannot trust a doctor, find a better, more trustworthy doctor to go to, just saying..-Wicked

  • Well it Really depends on how long, how deep, and whether or not they messed up a little on the surgery. I would recommend seeing a Doctor, and telling them, and maybe getting a physical done. Best Wishes, -Wicked

  • This is certainly something to discuss with a medical professional. Hopefully you have?
