Well this is kind of a hard thing to answer because any behavior that is obsessive compulsive is not normal however if you do these activities because you like them and you are having a great time the whole time you are doing these activities I wouldn't say it is obsessive but more like just doing the things you like to do. But if you are making yourself do these activities that large length of time and you don't enjoy them or don't enjoy doing them that long (since that is a lot of time doing those activities) I would say that isn't normal and maybe you should see a psychiatrist to help deal with your obsessive compulsive habits. But before I rate this normal or not I have a few questions:
Do you enjoy doing these activities for the length of time you do them?
Do you take breaks to rest a little? I know you said 5 hours straight but do you not even sit for 5 min to rest or take a drink of water?
I'm sure you feeling more attractive after the activities has a lot to do with it. Most people strive to feel better about themselves and will do the activities that make them feel that way. For example I don't like that during the winter my skin gets whiter so in the summer I feel more attractive after laying out in the sun for awhile.
I'm not sure what you mean by saying "on the bigger side" but if you mean slightly overweight I don't think you need to do physical activity that long to maintain a healthy weight nor maintain muscles if you meant something else.
Is it normal to be obssesed with excercise?
