Is It Normal to be obsessed with the 50's and older decades???

  • They weren't "the good decades" unless you were born a straight white man. Also, then you'd be living your childhood during WWII.

    • Sorry, I mean music wise and the clothing styles and stuff. And sorry if I might seem to have a naive personality or seem to only see the good things about those times but.... I've grew up thinking: "My life sucks." And "I don't belong in this era." And also I was influenced by my grandparents. I grew up to old music, country music, and classical... I also consider myself an Old Soul, and many have agreed with me. When I was in school I related to the teachers instead of the students... It's always been like that, I've always related to older people. Sorry for the long reply! :p

      • Ok, that makes more sense. There are subcultures today that centre around those things, but I can't think what they're called at the moment. Maybe you should look into it.

        • Yeah.... People create their whole lives over that stuff.... Must be great... But it stops people from doing a lot of modern things that help people today...
