Is it normal to be obsessed with praying?

We probaley could use more people praying these days.

Political correctness has been made a dirty word (or words) by people who don't want to be pulled up for disrespecting and discriminating against minority groups and you're old enough to know that gypsysailor. Just what is "sham" about wanting a world where people aren't insulted or attacked (in any way) because of their race, gender, ethnicity or sexuality? How terrible that would be NOT.

Live and let live. I don't care what people believe in as long as it's not shoved in my face lots of time to make me change my mind

Just like political correctness, it is a complete sham. However, if it makes you feel better, then it accomplishes the same goal.

Keep it up, pull off a few fake miracles and you'll be made a saint .... but you'll have to be dead first. Maybe martyrdom would do it?

I'd love to hear even ONE example of prayer changing anything except the praying person fooling themselves that god is listening and taking notice.

Get up off your knees and get out in the world and do something to change it for the better because prayer is never going to do it, it's lazy and pointless.

I agree that praying is a waste of time.
