I think she's the cutest thing in the world, I can't stop smelling and squishing her. I have this obsession with cute things. She's 10 and I'm a straight girl.

So this just kinda depends on your age, but when a child is born they have a special smell that makes women go nuts for them, and the same may be in a way true for you, ypu may be experiencing in a way the same thing for your sister

You smell her a lot... k that's a little weird, but it pretty much sounds like how I get when I see my cats. I always have to pick them up, squeeze them and bite them. That's just what you do with cute things. Perfectly normal, idk why this is rated so lowly... it was probably the smelling thing that weirded people out lol.
It's not something my own siblings did, but that doesn't make it odd. What's curious is that you use the word "straight" which implies that you think you are sexualising your little sister. To be honest, I don't think you are. But plenty of people go through phases while growing up where their sexuality becomes a grey area. Maybe this is something you're struggling with at the same time as adoring your younger sibling. Or perhaps it is your mothering instinct growing. Either way, I think perhaps you're worrying too much. If your sister is fine with it, it's okay.
I used to be that way with my little brother when he was a kid. I think it's normal.
Yeah, that's actually normal. My older sis used to do it to me all the time! She thought I was so cute and couldn't get enough of me. It just made us closer and now we laugh about it. Nothing to worry about!
The smell thing is not "too much." I love the way babies smell. I love the way my niece smells. She is the most precious thing to me and I still treat her like a baby in ways even though she is now 15! I always try to be a source of affection and unconditional love toward her. It is not an obsession. You would be obsessed if you constantly thought about her and the thoughts were strange and threatening. I just think you love your sister and she is lucky!
Maybe.. The smell thing might be a bit much but I didn't have a younger sibling so I'm not sure. It's pretty common for the older sister to attach to the younger sister like a teddy bear though.
