Is it normal to be normal?

I mean.. I don't get the concept of calling things normal or to behave normally..What's something normal , something perfect? Nothing's prefect ... And why do we have to be normal anyways can't we just go on and live? We don't need to rely on others..I think sometimes you can't understand why people are acting some ways. I have a hatred for conformism.

Everyone is normal, just some people's version of normal might seem weird to others.

You know what's "normal" and creepy? The Truman Show. I saw that movie once and I just find it to be the creepiest movie for some reason.

I have an idea on this subject and it stems back from what knowladge do you have off what is normal if your perception of normal is to fallow rules and be a straight shooter then it is only your story. If you think normal is to be crazy and wild then that could be your story as well :) no right or wrong answer just ideas and stories through diffrent perceptions off our minds

Keng , i'm not talking about social conformity, laws and stuff like that' i'm talking about behaving and the way to live your life and about your tought . And being un-conformist is doing what you want what u think is right without thinking about what other people might think about it , its not about wanting to be un-conformist its just not caring about conformity..

  • I'd rather have my own life, not just do what people tell me.

I think people think it's cooler and edgy to go against the grain and be a non-conformist. Conformity (not conformism), in a broader sense, makes the world go 'round. We cannot live without people conforming to laws and what not; otherwise, how would you ever make it home from work if people were extreme non-conformists and didn't obey traffic signs? It's ok to try and be different in small, subtle ways, but to say you hate conformity is really quite ridiculous.

And on a side note, so many people have claimed that they don't conform that, in my opinion, it's become a fad. If my opinion turns out true (and I'm aware there's no real way to test it), then everyone who tries to be a non-conformist is conforming to a non-conformist way of life, thus negating their initial intention. Something to think about.
