Normal means:Behaving within certain widely acceptable parameters. To respect the essential rules and traditions of a particular society or group.A native american was abnormal to the colonialists as much as the colonialists were abnormal to them. For example:Is it normal that an aborigenous doesn't use a lue? To them:Yes,completely normal. To us,not normal.
Is it normal that egyptians used to enslave people to built the pyramids? To us,it's not normal,to them,it was just ordinary administration.Troubles usually arise when two different people with two different views of what's normal, and what isn't,meet each other. And most of the times, the winner,is not really who has the best rules, but who has the biggest and best trained army. Not to mention the best plan. And the support of the majority of the population.Which isn't really necessary in times of war.In some muslim countries selling little girls in exchange for a goat is normal as it could be for us to go look for a chick on facebook. For some populations fat women are "normal".But in most western countries, they are stigmatized. In india,if you have a mental illness, you might actually be seen as the reincarnation of some god, here, you are just out of your mind and that's it. To a fundamentalist extremist environmentalist keeping the lights on for more than a few seconds,or using an high voltage light bulb is not normal. In other countries female genitalia amputation, infibulation,is normal.
To jews circumcision is normal.
So it all depends from which point you look over the people populating the earth, and what the people around you think about your point of view. The more distant it gets from theirs, the more likely it is to be stigmatized and discriminated against.Lesson is over, you don't have to ask yourselves whether what you do is normal or not unless you are surrounded by people who might think otherwise.
i think the majority of people are normal. they can function without pills and stuff.
I think to be normal it means being part of the majority. So yes there is a "normal". I kinda get what ur sayin though. I've often wondered why there are more weirdos than normal people. The world wouldn't go 'round if everyone was normal and the same. How boring that would be!
"Wait...
There's a such thing as normal? I think I'll have to try this."

"Well, that sucked."
normal is uninteresting and boring. ibloce being extremely unnormal. well in my opinion, beig normal is not normal and being unnormal is normal. If that mOws any sense. ;]
I think being normal is an excuse to be perfect. no one of course can be totally 100% normal.
