Is it normal to be nervous about sex?

I'm 23, a guy, and I've only ever had sex once in my life. I'm not embarrassed by that, however I have noticed a trend that's happened all my life.

Times have risen where the opportunity to have sex with a girl has come, however I find myself getting very nervous and anxious, to the point where I've pretty much never gone through with it. Girls have told me they wanted to have sex with me, but when it comes time to take action is when I get nervous. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

    I get like this too, I'm myself when I'm with them, laughing and playing about but when It come to the sex thing I get really nervous, so I'm glad I'm not the only one
