I'm 26 and have started walking around nude, my mum sometimes sees me walk to or from the bathroom or I might just leave the bedroom door open while changing.

She doesn't say anything but I'm a little unsure if mothers care all that much. I've seen her walk naked around the house for years and she doesn't mind, so that means she's comfortable and im also fine with it.

So Is it okay visa versa?

    I would say normal, except you said “I’m trying to be comfortable naked in front of her”. Get a robe to walk around in or something..

      I usually do, but I'm asking if its okay for a mother to see her son nude for a couple of seconds here and there..

      Like walking out of the bathroom and what not..

      My mum is sometimes topless and in a thong, I used to get annoyed and say that's weird, but I'm mature about it now and know alot of other peoples mums do the same

    My kids are still younger than you but I don't give a shit about seeing them naked. I can't imagine it would suddenly change when they become adults. I've wiped their shitty bums thousands of times.

    If either one of you is uncomfortable then it isn't ok, but assuming you are both comfortable with it, I can't see the issue.

      I think it's just me being a sook that my mum seen my wang, even though I see her boobs nearly everyday.

      (Yes, she's on of "those" mums)

      After her not seeing it since I was about 9 till a few months ago when she walked in without knocking (as mums do)

      I think I've traumatised myself from 15 or 16 years of making sure she never seen it like it's a bad thing or I'm ashamed if she sees it.

    Many Americans and Brits are prudes when it comes to nudity at home. I'm sure a lot of them would be shocked by how much your mother allows you to see, but the fact is that you'd see just as much all over the place on many - if not most - continental European beaches in the summer. Considering how your mother is, she's probably been inwardly rolling her eyes and wondering how the hell her son turned into a prude during puberty.

    About 5 years ago, I saw my mother naked - by accident. I was just walking around in the kitchen, getting some coffee and she stepped out of the shower naked. She just stood there staring at me naked I guess, because I turned and looked at her and she just stood there like a statue gawking for no apparent reason until she suddenly let out this loud "AHNK!!!" noise and shimmied back into the bathroom. I still wonder what her deal was.

    Nudity is normal, and a good number of people are not uncomfortable with it.

    It's perfectly normal to walk around one's own home, hotel room, places you rent, etc. nude.

    Its typically not normal to entertain guests nude, unless its a specific nudist get together.
