i am the same, i prefer talking to someone face to face, even if he's a stranger, and i am a shy person...i don't know why but forum chats with strangers make me feel quite anxious and uncomfortable as well...i know people who talk with other people online and they have never meat in real life, they're friends and everything and i could never do that, i wouldn't know what to talk about, it just feels weird...so, it's normal ;)
