this happens all the time for me. When I was 16 and some rude guy went up to me and my friend (and she was 18 at the time) and told us we looked like 8th graders. And when I was actually in 8th grade, one girl on my bus told me I looked like a 6th grader. If there were any other grades lower than 6th grade at school, she probably would've said the lowest one. I get offended when people tell me I look younger than I look but I guess when I'm older, I'll appreciate it haha.
