Is it normal to be mean to guys?

I hang out with my guy friends more than my girl friends but I'm sort of mean...I flirt w/o thinking about it and then they ask me out and I say no I also call them by pet names like honey, dearest w/e and make physical contact (like smacking them playfully if they tease me) I don't mean to be awful! I can't seem to help it either though and our relationship isn't so easy as it should be when I'm concentrating on being less...misleading?

    hahaha I call one of my guy friends my best gay friend and braid his hair and tease him about being a girl. I hit him all the time too, and boss him around. It pisses him off so much.
