Is it normal to be love picking scabs

I fell into a drain last week and when a big scab was formed, my friend wanted to pick it. She said that she is an expert, it won't hurt and that she have experience in picking her mother's scabs. I declined and she was frustrated.

    I'm a compulsive scab picker (on me and - to a much lesser extent - my boyfriend).

    He compulsively squeezes my spots.

    I pick my scabs, but usually after I can't bare to look at them anymore. I could never pick someone else's, especially if there's a risk of bleeding.
