I think its a self esteem issue.I think that most people desperately want to fit in and try to do what they think others would want them to say or act. But in reality people don't like that. It's people pleasing. Work on yourself and spend time getting to know who you are and accepting all of yourself. Read Be Yourself, Everybody Else is Taken by Mike Robbins. Awesome book. I don't know you so I could totally be wrong. But I found that I was trying way to hard to fit in. I came off as uncomfortable and anxious. It made other people uncomfortable and anxious. I learned that you need to love and accept yourself before others do. If you don't accept yourself then chances are people won't accept you. Hope this helps.
Well I could choose to either follow the crowd and do drugs, commit crimes and take liquor and money from my parents. That or choose not to get in trouble and go to school and be a loser. I made a choice to be responsible. I think it was a better choice.
I never went to college. I had the option to drop out of high school but I did not want to be home that much. Since my family honestly could not stand me and my friends were the ones keeping me sane. At least at that time they were. Anyways after school ended my parents broke up and I got kicked out of the house. Was not really prepared for it. I do work now though.
Wow that must have been really tough. I can't imagine. College isn't for everybody. That's great that your working and providing for yourself. Experience's are one of life's greatest gifts. That might sound insane but its true. When you experience something whether its good or bad you learn from it and will come across people that will go through the same thing and since you went through it you more than anybody else can understand them and be there for them. Life is a big test. We all want to be comfortable and have it all but there are going to be things that blind side us. It's how you react and what you learn from it. Everything happens for a reason. Cheesy but true. Believe that God has a better plan for you in your future.
Is it normal to be left out a lot?
