You seem a bit condescending toward him. You admit to loving him but call him dumb? He's training to be a veterinarian, for gods sake! Most people aren't smart enough to do that. Most people would be proud of that in itself. You should come down from your high horse and realize that you are the lucky one in the relationship and, due to your obvious ignorance of what real intelligence actually is, he's the one who should be ashamed of YOU.
