Being jealous of them is normal, defo. But don't let jealousy become you.
Being popular isn't all that interesting. There's too much attention on them, people relying on them, they're expected to be at everyone's party- all of that means they have to be perfect in everything, and do and be everything everyone else expects them to do and be. They're either enjoying it and can't see the possible end to their popularity, or too humble to notice they're popular, or they're dying inside from all the expectations and pretending... or something else disturbing.
