One of my best female friends is a gamer. Lately she's only been talking about Allistair from Dragon Age: Origins, saying how sweet and lovely he is. Is it normal for me to be jealous or feel worthless because a video game character is better at charming a girl than I am?

    Haha, this is kind of cute. :3

    Seriously, I think stuff like that is totally normal; the RPG genre is known for having characters with deep, multi-faceted, almost realistic personalities, so players feel more drawn to empathize with them. Also, if you really like this girl (as I suspect you do), any other male taking up a lot of her attention is going to be unwelcome, right? Well, he may not be physically real, but this guy's personality is making a significant impression on her, so it's no wonder you'd be a little jealous, fictional rival or no.

    Anyhow, don't worry. Someday she'll beat Dragon Age, and Allistair will leave her thoughts... but I bet you won't. :3

    No that's not Normal dick head. Reach down and grab your nuts! If there is something there than you have one upped the fictional character, I probably agree that the video game will draw more of her attention if you continue to be a fucking pussy. Ask her out and make yourself her priority. Wake up!
