A little bit of jealousy can be attractive. At least you know someone cares about you. I've never minded when someone has asked the question or even acted a little jealous as long as they accept my answer.
Going through my phone without me knowing is pushing it much too far, though. Particularly because, in my case, if you asked for my phone to read my texts or check my calls, I'd let you. I'm more open than most, though, and life is definitely easier when you have nothing to hide. Not everyone thinks this way. If I found you going through my phone without permission, I'd find it very difficult to trust you in the relationship.
