I just found out that one of my old friends became a model. She's actually starting to act now, she's been on set these past couple of months. I'm extremely happy for her, but at the same time, jealous as fuck. I don't want to be jealous, she was always a good friend.. But OMG I'm so fuckin jealous, I wish I could trade places with her!
It is normal but telling her might make it worse. She could either flaunt her success in your face or try to help and both will make you feel worse and/or would put her in an uncomfortable position putting a wedge in your relationship. I mean I have the same thing, kind of but on the opposite side. I'm successful, good at most things, have two houses, can afford to take my bff on expensive holidays but I get jealous when she get a nicer phone then me but if she told me she was jealous I wouldn't know what to do and it would probably break our friendship. I don't know if this helps at all. :)
