Is it normal to be irritated when people use "turtle" not tortoise?

    sorry :( they do tend to get misidentified as turtles too, right? I have not seen or heard much mention of them at all really.

      They are actually turtles. The difference is the type of water they live in. But true, people hardly use that word.
