I feel that physical parts of a relationship are equally as important as the emotional parts. And when the relationship is long distance, you don't have that. It's like part of the relationship is just not there. I have never been able hold a long distance relationship either. It's fairly easy to keep the person as a friend and a hypothetical "shoulder to lean on" when you need someone to talk to, but it's very normal to feel like the relationship just doesn't click with the distance.
Is it normal to be incapable of long distance relationships?
