Is it normal to be in possession of superior intelligence?

I don't get it. This usually works; I mean, if you search for it, you'll find plenty of incidents in which someone typed a question like this and got hundreds of responses, mostly from people with low self-esteem who get off by sniping the OP and trying to tear them down, usually by pointing out trifling grammatical errors in the OP's story. People on this site can be so mean; they really get off on pushing others down to make themselves feel better (yes, I understand that's very hypocritical of me, considering what I wrote up there). I honestly don't know why I even continue to come here. I just get a little more sad each time I come here, and the environment here certainly isn't helping.
