I definitely believe that you can love multiple people, but in slightly different ways.
My first love is not my boyfriend. Because my first love knows he can't commit. Things with him are exciting and wonderful, but we seem to have chemistry is too good: it explodes.
My boyfriend is the person I trust and know that he will always be there for me and that I will always be there for him. Things get kind of boring, but life is stable with him and the loyalty is there.
That's just my experience. And it sucks. But that's life.

Stupid Hollywood. Making people believe that there is one "true love"... and making us think that things actually work out with that "one true love".
