Most people only have one partner because most times they can't handle the drama/sharing between one partner, let alone two. It takes a huge honest heart to have well functioning poly-relationships. And even then its a crapshoot. Humans are jealous creatures.
But most people are influenced by religions and hollywood so they can't shake the notion of ONE true love. I certainly can't either.
