I'm sorry, but I have tried for 3 years to get over this kid. I don't think it's a crush.
& the whole 'surface' thing. I knew his friends, I know background on him, I do know his flaws, I know that I love his chicken legs, the way his voice cracks, all the quarky things. So no, maybe I didn't try to make a friendship with him, I wasn't supposed to, it was a bet.
Is it normal to be in love with someone I barely know?
