Is it normal to be in love with my best friend?

I made a big mistake I think. I kissed my best friend also told her that I would not do anything out of it. I did not say why. why was because I was so in love with her but if I lost her as a girlfriend thought that I would never have her best friend again.

She once told me that she stopped being in love with me because of it, but I have not changed me. We have exactly the same conditions only 100 times better. Now she is in another country, but she comes home for the summer. Do not know if I should continue to be best friends with her or should I try to be a little more. Everyone says that we are meant to be together, but are unsure? : (

    That's why I hate being bestfriends with opposite sex, because love is unpredictable.

      it doesn't matter, alexett. i've been in a similarish situation-don't try, if its meant to be, it'll just happened. just spend time with her- be happy and understanding, don't try to push anything
