i really love finnish and listening to people talk in finnish makes me really happy idk if its even possible to explain what its like

like, if im having a bad day i just watch random finnish commercials on youtube and if i can understand something that makes my day and i go from "wow i hate this person i wish they would just die" to "wow screw that person, who needs them when i have Finnish"

i know this probably makes no sense but its not like one of those things when people are turned on by some language, i just think it sounds nice, kinda like when people really like a certain type of music and listening to it makes them happy

i have a friend that feels the same way so i know im not the only one, i just want to know if other people think this is weird.

    It is pretty great. I've had two Finnish girlfriends (admittedly the first wasn't really a girlfriend because I was only about five) but the other one wasn't that long ago. She taught me some Finnish. Not the easiest language in the world to learn but I could have listened to her speak it forever. I like the Finns a lot.

    Yep it's normal because now you can also find something to look at when you're upset or in a bad mood and bonus points for learning Finnish damn

    I think you just answered your own question by saying it's just like listening to music. I can't say I feel the same way about a language but I do enjoy Spanish!
