  • Well god also considers Premarital sex to be a sin, so just make sure you sign your whole life away to someone before you have any sex at all. Thats kind of an important caveat.

    • Do you have a chapter and verse where it states premarital sex is a sin?

      • Here is a bunch for ya. Some of the terminology is a little confusing but understand that the term 'sexual immorality' includes any sex outside of a one man one woman relationship.

        • According to whom? Typically when a statement follows qualifiers such as marriage that's what the statements refer too.

I don't know. As a promiscuous bisexual female I have a hard time believing God created me just to damn me to hell. I really dont think he cares. Immoral is more about your word. IE. Marrying someone and then being adulterous. Being a lying sack of shit.

Thanks for the link. More will be revealed I guess.

    • Confess your sin to God and you're forgiven Romans 10:13

      • And how is that relavant? Ate you saying OP should have lots of sex directly against the will of their god and just confess it each time? That shows a serious lack of respect for their god. If they believe god is who he says he is, they will do what he says.

            • "Hebrews 13:4

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."

Pertains to marriage. Open to interpretation as to sexually immoral but its referring to married persons.

              "Corinthians 7:2

But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband."

Again this pertains to marriage. Where is the premarital reference?

Edit: I am not trying to play gotcha, I am genuinely curious because I have yet to come across it and my pastor gives me stuff like you just did and chides me for arguing lol.

              • Yeah its confusing I know. For a time I was still hoping the bible wasn't actually against it. I did some rummaging into the footnotes and some professional interpretations and the consensus is that the term sexual immorality is a term that includes any sex outside of marriage. I couldn't explain the details to you, but every Christian I ever knew and heard speak on the matter agrees that includes premarital sex. If fornication was okay, my life would be pretty ironic because I left the faith just to have premarital sex.
