    Before transgender was more in the public eye, people were confused by what to call us but I believe a lot of people know only the word "transgender" for us.
    Trans women is most accurate for MTF.

    I remember 20 years ago when the words were - transsexual, crossdresser, transvestite, shemale. Each was something specific. I haven't heard those much in years.

      Tg, crossdresser. And shemale and occasionally ladyboy I hear all the time along with sissy. Ts and tv not so much though
