I was hated by so many of my teachers, and I think most of the time it was that they didn't understand me, and it's nothing unexpected, people don't know you if you haven't shown them "you".
I will always remember my I.T teacher's comment, though. I was at a time where I started becoming who I am now, and I just shut off from everything not seeing the point (not depression, just realization), and she looked at me when I was just aimlessly looking out the window on a sunny day and she said "You and I both know you've got something special to offer, I know you're going to become something more than the rest here, but I also know you've got the secret that makes you question the point of it all".
She blew my mind. She was the only one that knew I had the capability to do things, but at the same time knew that the secret of how pointless it all was is what keeps that from happening.
"You and I both know you've got something special to offer, I know you're going to become something more than the rest here..."
hahahaha
That's something teachers usually say to manipulate their trouble students. They appeal to the student's ego as a tactic to get them involved. They actually learn to do this when they're still in uni getting their degree in education.
It worked until you blew teach's cover! Lol. That's so deceptive and now that I think about it a teacher had tried that on me, assuming I didn't talk to my classmates because I thought they were too boring for me...somewhat close but not exactly right. But i've also had a teacher try to undermine my ego, so I don't know exactly what they had going on at that school. They also had a short, muscular black man who liked to spank little girls.
IIN to be hated by teachers because they don't understand you?

Indeed... Just the threat of it makes me resent my mother.
