Is it normal to be grossed out by people who are okay with abortion?

  • Abortion is kind compared to end of life care for many as well as the average person's care for humanity. I am not cynical, but people are horrible. Abortion is a kindness in many regards.

But most importantly, it is none of your business.

    • People who are pro-life think it's the same as murder. People getting away with murder is very much their business.

      • They also believe you can transplant an ectopic pregnancy. Science can't actually do that but they refuse to listen to reality.

They also place judgement on the parent as if it is their duty. It is not their place to judge. They put their faith in God to be the judge of these matters. When they take that from "him" they have missed the whole point of love.

        • You are supposed to want what's best for people. That is love. Getting murdered is not what's best for the fetus, and allowing murders to take place is not what's best for anyone.

          • Is an act of mercy an act of love? Bringing a child into an world void love, void of support, and void of resources is not loving.

Also, none of your business. Trust the mother. Love the mother.

            • Murder is not an act of mercy. Loving the mother involves disallowing her from murdering her own child.

              • It is just semantics. I would totally murder a loved one if it would help ease their pain and suffering.

I understand that you feel it is a moral obligation to combat abortion. However your morals do not actually provide love to an unwanted child forced to live in an abusive society that wants it to suffer in life and take the parents down with them. If people actually embraced socialism and took care of the masses, I may reconsider. But as it stands, your beliefs do not help the situation, they only cause more pain.

        • That's not how religion works chief. Least not how I grew up in the church. They think every fucking thing is their business.

    • I agree 100%

If I knew my child was going to have severe, life-long disabilities, I would have my wife get an abortion without thinking twice.

Alzheimer’s runs in my family, and to be 100% honest I’d much rather have my life terminated than rotting in a nursing home dedicating myself and not remembering who anybody I cared about.
