Is it normal to be grossed out by coins and jewelry?

Ever since I was little I’ve always been disgusted by coins and jewelry. I’ve never been not disgusted eating around them and I hate when messy rooms have them scattered everywhere. Jewelry is a little lesser then coins but I still don’t like them. Is this normal?

So we’ve established you are not a magpie.

    Well that’s cleared that up.

coins are dirty as hell so no. cash is also very dirty and covered in bacteria. jewelry is a little extreme since its only as dirty as the person wearing it.

Yes because they’re full of bacteria. Its probably dirtier than your toilet. But with jewelry, it depends on the user

I'm not a fan of jewelry and I hope my future fiancee isn't expecting a 4 paycheck engagement ring.

If she truely loves me what difference does it make if it's just a copper ring vs a golden one encrusted with 4 diamonds? (I'm probably just going to go with an engraved gold ring, nothing flashy)

If you’re gonna buy a ring for your future girl, it doesn’t have to be that expensive or flashy. Just make sure it looks decent and it won’t turn her finger green like a copper ring lol And some girls think that ring is like treating your girl to a dinner night or a gift to make her feel special, its not a bribe to make her say “yes”. Plus its tradition and everyone is used to that. And also when her family finds out that she’s engaged, theyre gonna want to see the ring and they’re gonna be disappointed if she doesn’t have a ring on or if she’s wearing a copper ring that she might be allergic to. Anyways, all I’m saying is at least make an effort (like when giving someone a present). After all, its the thought that counts:)

As I said an engraved golden ring. Idk why I used copper ring as an example of a cheap ring, perhaps I've spent too long playing RPGs.

When jewelry gets old, it gets a metallic smell, and it grosses me out, but I still wear it anyway.
