Not everybody who is good at maths wants to be a mathematician, learn about maths history - or even enjoys maths. Not everybody who is good at drawing wants to be an illustrator, or even draw. And so on.
It's unfortunate that you have skills you have little use for now, but hey, they could come in handy at some point in the future.
I do enjoy these things but I don't care about the history or athletes or any of that. A lot of time when I say I like that I am told I should know the trivia but I don't care.
I know mediums, supply's and techniques but I don't know a lot of famous paintings or what they mean. I like playing basket ball but I don't know the stats of the players.
I was told that you do not really care about something unless you know the history but that really does not matter to me.
I hate being told im not dedicated because of this. I feel like since I enjoy art I should like museums but when I go I just sit there really bored. In fact I hate most museums just a bunch of boring displays they don't do anything.
There was one museum I enjoyed but it was all about science.
There's a difference between being an artist and an art historian. You don't necessarily need a knowledge of art history to be able to paint, draw or sculpt well. You don't necessarily need to ever enter a gallery, or enjoy looking at other people's work.
That applies to basketball too. If you know the rules of the game you can become good without ever having heard of the NBA.
In fact that applies to most activities. You can be passionate about doing something, and good at doing it, without necessarily being interested in the history or wider 'scene'.
IIN to be good at something and yet not care about it(please read all)

Yes it is normal.

That's also incredibly ordinary.
