It seems to me that you might actually have a shot with him. If he would let you do all these different things to him, maybe you should confess your feelings for him. Chances are he probably likes you back, but is to embarrassed to say it aloud. You two seem pretty close, and in this state, now is the perfect time to say something, or at least wait until he is single (if he is dating someone).
