  • I'm not sure why you feel that getting financial support from your family is unethical. Full scholarships also pay people's way through school; consider it a full scholarship that you earned years ago when your parents set aside money for your education.

    You're very fortunate to have that option, but it isn't a bad thing. It frees you to focus solely on your studies. If you feel you aren't contributing enough, then spend some of the time you aren't spending in a grindingly dull retail job or low-paying internship with volunteer work. You have a great opportunity to do that right now, and I'm sure your parents would be proud, too.

    You'll have the rest of your life to work and earn your way. Enjoy the opportunity you have now; if you want to pay your parents back after school, you can, but there's no moral or ethical quandary about spending money they probably started saving for this very purpose since before you were born.
