Asking a question online isn't attention-seekingly blatant? Seriously though it isn't a good thing because you could get fatter and fatter until you become trapped in your bedroom and one day the fire service will have to demolish part of your house and lift you out with a crane. Then you will have to go to hospital on the back of a truck and people will point and laugh. Finally, in hospital doctors and nurses will privately make jokes and maybe even take pictures when you are asleep. The worst part is your loss of dignity and independence. You lose your dignity because you will not find clothes big enough to fit. Have you ever watched programmes about super-obese people? Notice that they are always naked and covered by a blanket. There is a very large "bariatric patient" at the hospital where I work and she spends her whole time naked in bed. Sure we cover her with blankets but they don't always stay on like clothes would. When she needs changing, it takes four or five of us to do it. Imagine having to have your arse and genitals wiped clean by somebody else. Imagine being rolled back and forth like a massive pastry dough, just so nurses can see if you have pressure sores. You lose your independence because you won't be able to get up and do the things you want to. Instead you will have to dance to someone else's tune, irrespective of them talking about "patient dignity".
I'm not suggesting that you slim till you are a bag of bones but keep yourself active even if you don't lose too much weight.
Is it normal to be fat and not care?
