Well you might want to try having someone over to spend the night. How are you seeing footprints?? Like mud or blood or what? Keep in mind a lot of what people think is supernatural events really isn't. Try and think about it from a purely logical standpoint. Oh and probably any paranormal crew is a load of steaming bs.
But just to be on the safe side since all kinds of weird supernatural shit can happen you might want to try this:
Look up the history of the house.If its really not the house settling or your imagination then I would suggest looking for some cleansing rituals online and in books. Also look up the history of the house. However since its hard to find authentic ones I would suggest moving right away.
looking up the history isn't a bad idea. As far as the footprints go, they'll just appear. Like brand new carpet has been put in the whole house so when I vacuum it stays plush. And I'll walk into a room and there will be footprints leading into this one particular closet. And I didn't walk near it. And i always use logic. I'm not a superstitious person and never even believed in any of this till i started experiencing it.
