It must be an instinctual thing with you guys, because my friend thinks the same way and acted on it sadly. Him and his girl are on a break atm.
I wish men understood that our bodies change all the time, even with regular exercise. For example, my job is very active so I'm a steady 100 something for years. Suddenly in 3 months I shot up to 200 on the nose among other things, and I'm like, "Doctor wtf" My doctor is like, "Hm? Oh, this happens especially because you're on BC. Your body will regulate itself on its own eventually, but as long as you don't feel sick or this and that, you're okay." Now suddenly I'm losing weight again with no changes to anything.
Men make such a big deal over our appearance, but rarely empathize.
Also, it's either tell them you aren't attracted because of their weight, or break up, or be in a relationship with someone you aren't attracted to, I can't think of another option.
Men don't choose what they find attractive, they just do, they don't decide, it can't be controlled, I assume it's the same for women?
Nah. It depends on the type of girl. If it was such a common thing with us, you'll hear more stereotypes and jokes about it besides us wanting jerks.
My boyfriend is a big guy both in height and weight, it never bothered me and I never pressure him to lose weight because I know he'll do it on his own eventually, which he has.
As for my friend, they are trying to figure it out I guess. He can be very demanding and controlling, so I feel for his girlfriend. I feel he shouldn't have moved her in if he was so unattached to her to begin with. People aren't clay, you cant mold them into what you want.
Did you know that your body sends food craving signals depending on the size of your stomache? I.E. If you have a small stomache then you crave food less, if you have a large one then you crave it more.
Something you might not be aware of is that you can control the size of your stomache, it changes when you go without food or eat more food than normal (it doesn't change depending on your weight, it changes based on your consumption).
I'm kind of lucky because I don't crave food that often, I can easily go without breakfast, have just a packet of crisps or sandwich, and a dinner the size of a microwave meal... That's like 1250 calories.
Most men have a big breakfast, big lunch, big dinner, and they wonder why they're big, same goes for women.
If you're like me and only eating 1250-1750 calories a day and still gain weight then I feel bad for you, because I couldn't imagine eating less than I do currently.
Nah. TMI incoming but my period also stopped for months too. Doctors and I concluded it was a combination of extreme stress, and bc side effects reacting to my typical stress eating I've done many times before. Prior to bc, when stress I lose a lot of weight and eat only my comfort foods here and there, but nothing else (very bad I know), but I never gorge myself.
It's the first time I've been super stressed out like that and my body just said fuck it for a while. Once the stress passed, period came back and weight is coming off. So I know my body, just didn't know bc would make such a huge difference.
IIN to be disgusted by your own wife as she become fat?
