Yep, in itself it may seem harmless but if they get away with it their offending often escalates: we had a situation in Melbourne recently where a flasher, uncaught, graduated from flashing to sexual assault in a matter of weeks
Or maybe he was committing violent sex offenses all along? Even if they don't graduate to violent sexual offenses exhibitionists commit a kind of visual assault against their victims in my opinion. I mean it's not the the innocent bystander granted the flasher their consent.
I totally agree. Yeah, I guess he could've been, I hadn't thought of that. The police publicised it as an escalation from a number of flashing incidents over a short period of time, followed by sexual assault.
He did get caught, so if he assaulted other women earlier they may come forward, as happened recently after the rape & murder of Jill Meagher in Melbourne when a number of women recognised the perpetraor him from the media as having raped them some years ago and he was then convicted of those crimes also.
Pity there's so many still running around loose, though!
Is it normal to be creeped out by gay people?
