Is it normal to be confused as to why comments are thumbed up?

  • The thumbs up area is a place where someone can just dissagree or agree due to their emotions. I have seen so many comments thumbs down that were actually very logical, if not the most logical comment on the page, then look at the most thumbs up area and see that the whole rainbow, hoping bunnies, rainbow, candy-lane comment got thumbsed up to the max.

I barely thumbs something down, and when I do I comment to them explaining why I thumbsed them down or why I dissagree with them, I won't just thumbs down with no reason. I do that because I like to make people aware that I'm not being emotional over something which is why I thumbsed them down or up, that I have an actual good reason to, and if you have anything to say in which proves me wrong that will show my reasons for thumbing you up or down was a good call, then I will try to thumbs the comment on the different area I done previously.

Unfortunatly, the majority of people on here aren't like that. They think simply not liking something equals to it rightfully being given a thumbs down, even if the comment is logical, yet they just don't like it, not that they can counter it, they just don't like it.

    • I just thumbed you up because this is a good point and I agree. The thumbs aren't to say that we like something (although I've been guilty of thumbing this way too).
