Is it normal to be confused about feelings about a person?

There is an amazing girl that I have great feelings with and we always get along when we are together. However, sometimes I feel like she is 'disconnected' from the world, from things, and that includes me. Sometimes I feel like she doesn't really like me. I am thinking of talking to her, talking about the things I am thinking about in order to try to understand these internal doubts that I am trying to understanding.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Sounds like one of my friends and his feelings about me tbh. I know he thinks i'm disconnected compared to his overly social life. We're not really friends anymore though, guess I got sick of being viewed as a mystery or a code to crack by him. I prefer likeminded friends.

I don't say it as a 'mystery', but I wanted to understand what is really going on, you know? It is complicated...

        You should ask her then.

Yeah, I'll do it. And thanks for responding.

In what way does your friend seem to be disconnected from the world?

I think 'disconnected from the world' was a strong expression used by me. In this case, I meant that she always wants to feel alone, as if I, for example, wanted to be by her side, she says she wants to, too, but always to walk away. As if she wanted to leave me confused, leaving between the lines and not telling me what she really wants. It's too complicated to feel that way.

Very normal. People are complex, and when you throw in the mix of sexual attraction, they get even crazier. Talk to her and tell her about yourself. Hopefully she’ll open up and let you know what she’s really like.

Thank you really, I intend to do this as soon as possible. I'm taking the time to think and analyze the words I'm going to say as well. I don't want to hurt her and I don't want her to hurt me. I just want to make things clear.

I don’t advise that. Rehearsing your interaction with her is going to make you sound phony and inauthentic. Just be yourself and you can’t go wrong.
