Is it normal to be completely turned off by certain accents?

I am not very picky when it comes to the looks of a guy, but his voice matters a LOT to me.

I prefer black American accents and any hispanic/latino accent. Anything else works my nerves and turns me off. It's not that I'm racist, because I'm physically attracted to guys of all races, but I seem to perceive different accents as feminine and I do not like my man to seem feminine so it turns me off.

Anyone else feel this way?

It's normal for accents to either turn us on or turn us off, yes. Russian females sound real sexy... but Russian males just sound like fascist dictators, lol!

Living in the US I've always liked accents from other countries. Just about all of them. However, I HATE southern accents. Like hillbillies and country folks. Blech! However I love the country. To each his/her own

Lol, I feel the same way. Almost every accent I can stand but there are a few that just totally turn me off. Just like you, it's not like I'm racist, but for some reason that's how I feel. I don't really think it's normal though. From what I've seen and heard, most girls seem to be attracted to accents.
