I don't mind typos, because they happen. If I'm on my ipod, I often write "tge" instead of "the" and don't realise it until I click submit.
Abbreviations I don't care as much because I hate spelling out "appointment". "Appt." is so much better.
If someone accidently misspells something but I can get what word it is then I don't care either.
But if a person compltely mutilates a language (English I guess because we're on this this topic) and they don't have a learning disability and that language is their first language then it bugs me.
Is it normal to be completely disgusted by poor grammar and spelling?
