I grew up in America, and I loved it like my very own land, I consider myself a Confederate, but I'm Chilean. I was the only one in my family to be born outside of Chile. I hate Chile and I love America.

    I understand you grew up in America (I was born & raised here) but I think you should also cater some love to Chile. I can see how you can be more "in love" with America (you have to admit we have it a lot better here) but at the end of the day it's your blood. It's where your family is from, it in all reality is your real home. In fact, if it weren't for Chile you wouldn't be here. Just don't hate or love Chile, just know that's where you are REALLY fun. I am not sure how old you are but maybe you are embarrassed of your culture & you shouldn't be (if that's the case). I've met many people like you & it's really sad to me because being a foreigner isn't weird or being outcast. It's very unique and special. I hope you have luck finding your identity, [:
