I've never found women who use very obvious makeup attractive. Seeing a woman like that leads me to assume she's very insecure about how she looks, and probably more interested in the outward appearance of people rather than who they truly are.
However, the history you outline makes me think there's something else going on with your boyfriend, and he's the one who's very insecure. I suspect he'd probably be happiest if you wore a paper bag over your head, or at least never washed your hair or your face, and always wore baggy clothes that completely covered you.
The definition of "thot" seems to be pretty fluid, but it's pretty clear that it's an insult in this case. Do you really want to be with a guy who ever thinks of you as a whore?
You have the right to dress and use whatever makeup you choose. You also have the right to interact with people - including guys - without him monitoring your every move. Relationships always involve compromises and negotiation over lots of things, but if how you prefer to present yourself to the world causes him to look down on you, and he doesn't trust you to talk to other guys when he's not there, then I think you should be asking yourself just how much he respects you as a person.
